About Lumena

Lumena is building a modern platform for post-acute care, starting with home health and hospice. The industry is facing compressing margins, difficulty hiring and retaining staff, increasing compliance scrutiny, and complex, shifting payer requirements — and the software agencies run on wasn't built for any of it. We're building one system for the work of care, with AI employees that handle the repetitive work while the team stays in control.

The role

You'll own how organizations go live on Lumena — onboarding, migration, configuration, and training — and how they succeed after. This is a founding role: you'll work directly with the founder and our clinical lead, stay close to our earliest customers, and shape the product through what you learn on the ground.

What you'll do

• Run implementations end to end: planning, data migration, configuration, training, and go-live.
• Learn each organization's workflows and procedures deeply, and configure Lumena — and its AI employees — around how they actually run.
• Be on the ground with customers through onboarding and the critical first months.
• Bring what you learn back to the product and engineering team, closing the loop between how the system is used and what we build.
• Build the implementation playbook as you go — you're defining how this is done, not following a manual.

What we're looking for

• Experience implementing, onboarding, or supporting software for business customers.
• Strong organization — you can run several go-lives at once without dropping the details.
• Clear communication with everyone from owners to clinicians to office staff.
• Patience and empathy for users in the middle of a stressful change.
• Comfort operating in an early-stage, in-person startup environment.

Nice to have

• EHR or health tech implementation experience.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or post-acute operations — intake, scheduling, QA, or billing.
• A clinical background, or experience working closely with clinical teams.
• Experience at an early-stage startup.

Logistics

This role is full time and in person, five days a week, at our office at 5th and Bryant in San Francisco, with travel to customers during onboarding.
